BTTC Owner and CEO named to American Petroleum Institute Training
Provider Certification Program Subcommittee (API TPCP)
API TPCP was established to set the standards and auditing processes
that will be met and maintained by API Certified Training Providers
in all sectors of the Oil and Gas business. The API TPCP requirements
will cover Upstream Exploration and Production (including offshore),
Midstream to Downstream Refining Operations, Safety and Maintenance
issues. Any owner/operator or contractor wishing to acquire or
maintain API Training Provider Certification will be required to
meet, upgrade and maintain all aspects of the requirements through
an API managed audit and documentation process.

BTTC and The Hill Group sign Agency agreement
Bayport Training & Technical Center (BTTC),
one of the fastest growing firms in its area of Industrial expertise,
which includes Training, Training Equipment, Research and Development
projects, High Technology Packaged Equipment services, Maintenance
and Process Consulting as well as Management Consulting Services
has signed an Exclusive Agency Agreement naming The Hill Group
as its agent in the Caribbean.
In a recent statement made by Tim Brown, CEO and Owner of BTTC,
Mr. Brown stated, “Val Hill is a well known and established
authority in the areas of Management, HR, Employee and Workforce
Training issues as well as Labor Relations issues. Val’s
firm is both well-suited and strategically placed providing true
synergy with BTTC’s products and services. I have known Val
for some time and believe that we both have confidence in the future
of this relationship, the singular vision we share in maximizing
the benefit to our clients and the requirement of true integrity
in every aspect of our professional and personal lives.”
Mr. Brown continued by adding “The Hill Group, formed and
owned by Mr. Valdemar Hill, Jr., a consummate professional, will
exclusively represent BTTC in the geographic areas of the U.S.
Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Trinidad,
Tobago, Aruba, St. Marten, St. Kitts, Nevis and Jamaica.” Val
Hill said, “I am really excited about this relationship with
BTTC. My purpose is to bring value to our clients and help them
grow and achieve their organizational goals.” Mr. Brown closed
by saying “Val has over 20 years of experience as a business
and management consultant and as a labor arbitrator and mediator.
Coming from the Caribbean himself, he brings a great sensitivity
to the nuances of the culture, norms and customs of Caribbean people.

Sharon Moore has recently joined the BTTC staff
as administrative assistant. Sharon brings with her years of customer
service experience and we are excited she has joined our team.

Tim Brown Recently Named to Advisory
Board of Houston Community College Process Technology Department
We are pleased to announce that our owner and
President, Mr. Tim Brown, has recently been named to the Advisory
Board of Houston Community College Process Technology Department.
It is interesting to note that HCC holds the distinction
of being the largest community college system in the world and that
their process technology department ranks among the finest anywhere.
It is truly an honor for us to be involved and be of some service
to this fine organization.

provides the unlikely setting for ExxonMobil's Equatorial Guinea FPSO
training regiment. It is here that the Bayport Training & Technical
Center (BTTC) set up shop in February with the aim of taking offshore
industry training to new levels of sophistication."
